PPF Aftercare Instructions
First 7 days
-
Do not wash the car.
-
Do not wipe the film with towels, especially near edges.
-
Avoid high-pressure car washes.
First 3 days
-
Keep vehicle speed under 50 mph, 80 km/h.
Water evaporation
-
Residual moisture under the film is normal. It will evaporate within 15 to 30 days, faster in direct sunlight.
Cleaning
-
Avoid strong acids or alkalis. These can reduce gloss over time. Use pH-neutral cleaners and soft wash methods.
Lifting or bubbling
-
Contact your installer for professional help. Do not cut or peel the film yourself.
Self-healing and water repellency
-
These properties help with minor marks and water beading but do not prevent all damage. Remove bird droppings and bugs within 72 hours to prevent staining.
Microfiber cloths
-
Use high-quality microfiber to avoid marring or staining the film.
